The project re Your Lockdown Story is not just for the completion of an academic requirement but also to reconnect with some pals, especially in our current condition.

Changing the Avant-Garde
During the planning phase of what would be the best content to produce, and hitting two birds with one stone. The avant-garde concept is not what I believed to be the best-suited concept in our current condition. I realized that producing avant-garde is meant to produce after we are done in what we are going through and have completed its narrative. Although avant-garde is a non-narrative technique of filming, the art requires a vast and complete sequence with a start, middle, and end. And telling our current situation with the uncertainty of an ending. It is difficult to use the technique with just presuming an ending.
The Concept
Watching some produced series on the internet the actors were using a video communication platform to communicate, having quiz nights, building a new relationship, and etc, that are part of what we called new normal. Although using such a platform is not even new but with our current circumstances, we learn to maximize the capability of those video communication platforms. That lit a spark on my brain, that why wouldn't I maximized as well the use of those platforms to create content not just for the completion of my requirement but also to share my pal's experiences and stories during the lockdown.
The Selection
I sent a request with not less than six (6) people but few comply. Sending a proposal to some of my pals went on a smooth sail. The proposal I make has an option. The first option is for them to spare me three (3) minutes for an interview and the second if they are comfortable in recording themselves answering the question I will send to them. But the majority of the people who replied told me that they are comfortable recording themselves answering the questions.
The Filing
Storing an enormous amount of files from satellite locations needs huge cloud storage. My installed cloud storage is not enough to accommodate such a large amount of video files. So I am forced to install cloud storage with a huge amount of free storage but with the tricky interface. Resulting in only three (3) pals who have sent their file on time.
The Video
My three (3) pals who have sent their file on time are asked with six (6) similar questions. The questions are subjective, from what they have learned new to what they have realized being locked down from the comfort of their home. The three (3) main people who are shown in the video are Allyson from California, Eldren from Manila, and Jeunice from La Union.
The three also run us through what are different protocols and how they and their family are following the protocols of their respected locality.
Editing
Using a phone to edit gave me the realization of how hard it is for a small time content provider to go through. Editing with a small screen with a limited option for video editing gives it a harder time producing the content.
